Requesting Revisions

Unlimited revisions and the process for requesting changes to content.

Updated over 3 months ago

What is a Revision?

Before diving into the revision process, it's important to understand what constitutes a revision in our context:

A revision is a change to an existing asset that can be accomplished within our editing suite. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Text changes

  • Color corrections

  • Minor compositional adjustments

  • Lighting enhancements

  • Cropping or resizing

Revisions do not include complete reshoots or significant changes that alter the core concept of the original asset.

Unlimited Revisions

Our subscription model offers users unlimited revisions, this ensures that you receive content that perfectly aligns with your vision and brand requirements.

The Revision Request Process

To streamline the revision process and ensure clear communication, please follow these steps:

Step 1: Review Your Content

Once your content has been uploaded to our platform, you'll receive an email notification prompting you to review your gallery. For each asset, you need to indicate its status:

  1. Open your gallery and view each asset individually.

  2. If you're satisfied with an asset - great you don’t need to take action!

  3. If you need changes, click the 'Needs changes' button on the top right corner.

  4. This will activate a comment window so you can provide specific feedback letting us know what changes you’d like

  5. Additional comments can be left using the area tool if there are specific points you’d like to highlight

Important: All feedback must be shared via the platform for our team to process and action your requests efficiently.

Step 2: Editing

Once you've submitted your revision requests:

  1. Our team will promptly action your feedback.

  2. If any of your comments require clarification or realignment, your account manager will respond directly on the asset.

  3. This ensures a clear record of communication and helps prevent misunderstandings.

Step 3: Review New Variations

After we've made the requested changes:

  1. You'll receive a notification when new variations are available for review on the platform.

  2. Examine each revised asset carefully, you can use the version toggle on bottom left to compare with the previous asset.

  3. If you're satisfied, click the 'Accept' button on the top right of the asset.

  4. If further changes are needed, click 'Needs changes' and provide additional feedback.

  5. We'll return to Step 2 and repeat the process until you're completely satisfied.

Requesting a Reshoot

In some cases, you may feel that revisions aren't sufficient to achieve your desired outcome. If this happens:

  1. You can request a complete reshoot of the assets to better align with the original brief.

  2. Please note that your project will remain in progress during the reshoot.

  3. Your credits will continue to be in use throughout this process.

Important: If you want to shoot additional content that doesn't align with the original brief, it is recommended to create a new brief instead of requesting a reshoot.

Best Practices for Revision Requests

To ensure a smooth revision process:

  1. Be as specific as possible in your feedback.

  2. Use clear, descriptive language to explain desired changes.

  3. If possible, provide visual references for complex changes.

  4. Consolidate your feedback to minimize back-and-forth communication.

  5. Respond promptly to any questions from your account manager.

By following this process, we can work together efficiently to create content that meets and exceeds your expectations. Remember, our goal is your satisfaction, and we're here to support you throughout the revision process.
