Formats and Variations

Understanding the different file formats and content variations.

Updated over a week ago

Creating asset variations allow you to adapt your creative content for different purposes without incurring additional costs. Within the platform there are two types of variants you can order:

Format Variations

Purpose: Adapt content to fit different platforms and aspect ratios

Uses:

  • Resize images/videos for various social media platforms

  • Adjust ratio or resolution for different display types

Text Variations

Purpose: Modify written content for different audiences or testing

Uses:

  • Translate and localize content for different regions

  • Adjust messaging for specific demographics

  • Create multiple versions for creative testing

How to Add Variations

  1. In the deliverables table of your brief, locate the "Type" column.

  2. Click the dropdown menu and select either "Format Variant" or "Copy Variant".

  3. In the "Placement" field, specify any requirements for the variation (e.g., "Instagram Story 9:16 aspect ratio" or "Spanish language version for Mexico market").

  4. Ensure you have an original or master creative asset as the base for your variations.

    βœ… Important Notes:

    • Variations must be based on, or briefed with, an original creative asset.

    • The variants are produced only once all original assets are approved

    • Major changes requiring new visuals or concepts need a separate brief.

    • For additional variations after completion, submit an 'Adapt and Optimize' brief.

By utilizing variations effectively, you can maximize the impact of your creative assets across multiple platforms and audiences while maintaining consistency in your brand message.
