Understanding Credits

How the credit system works and managing your credits.

Updated over 3 months ago

Credits are the currency of the Creatively Squared platform, allowing you to commission bespoke creative work. Here's what you need to know:

Active Credits

As a subscriber on Creatively Squared, you have a set number of active credits that represent your capacity for concurrent projects. This system allows for continuous content production without the need to manually repurchase credits.

How Active Credits Work

  1. Set Capacity: Your subscription plan determines your number of active credits (e.g., 60 credits on the Growth plan).

  2. Briefing Projects: When you brief a project, the required credits are deducted from your active credit balance.

  3. Concurrent Projects: You can have multiple projects in progress simultaneously, as long as you have sufficient active credits.

  4. Credit Recycling: Once a project is completed and marked as "Finalized", the credits used for that project are automatically returned to your active credit balance.

  5. Continuous Production: With credits recycling, you can maintain a steady flow of content production without interruption.

Monitoring Your Active Credits

You can easily track your active credit balance in your account dashboard. It will display:

  • Total active credits (your plan's capacity)

  • Credits currently in use (deducted for projects in progress)

  • Available credits (total minus in-use credits)

Adjusting Your Active Credit Limit

If you find that you consistently need more active credits to meet your content production needs, you can speak with your account manager or our support team to discuss options for expanding your subscription plan.

Credit Management Tips

  • Plan credit allocation based on project timeline and deliverables.

  • Consult your account manager to align credit usage with goals.
