Prop Sourcing and Usage

Details on prop sourcing and standard inclusions.

Updated over a week ago

We recognize that each project has unique requirements for props to enhance the scene and contribute to the overall aesthetic of your content. Our aim is to collaborate closely with our creators to ensure that your content is both authentic and visually compelling.

This guide outlines the available props and backdrops, as well as those that will require separate organization. Our goal is to provide clarity and support in acquiring the necessary elements to bring your creative vision to fruition.

Standard Props and Backdrops

Our creators are equipped with basic props and backdrops suitable for photography. Should your project require specific perishable items or specialised project requires specific perishable items these will need to be purchased separately.

  • Plain coloured backdrops for studio content

  • Household items such as:

    • Candles, blankets, books

    • Kitchen utensils, crockery, glassware

    • Bed, sofa, dining table

Custom and Specialist Items

If your project demands specialized items or custom backdrops that our creators would not typically have on hand, you'll either need to provide these or compensate for their procurement. Please be aware that highly specific requests are subject to seasonality and availability.

Custom Backdrops

  • Color Transitions: Smooth gradient backdrops transitioning from one color to another, such as a fade from deep purple to soft lavender, for a dynamic visual effect.

  • Dual-Tone Combinations: Backdrops featuring two complementary colors split or blended in a creative way

Specialised Items

  • Perishable items such as fresh flowers and plants

  • Specific food items such as seafood, meat, baked goods etc.

  • Scientific glassware such as beakers, test tubes, petri dishes, flasks.
